🦸‍♂️💙 Celebrating Our Superhero Daddies & Poppies!💙🦸‍♂️

This week, we celebrated the very special superheroes in our little learners’ lives-our daddies and poppies!🥰✨

We talked about all the special things we love doing with our families and enjoyed reading the beautiful story Superhero Dad. The children shared the most wonderful ideas about their daddy’s superpowers, from “controlling water”and “lifting a car” to even “putting monsters in jail!”🦸‍♂️😂

The children proudly created special gifts for their daddies and poppies and practised our “I Love My Daddy” song, which they performed with so much confidence and enthusiasm at our Father’s Day celebration. 🎶❤️

It was so lovely to welcome our daddies, poppies and families into our centre and share these precious moments together. Thank you for joining us and helping make the celebration so meaningful and memorable for the children. 💕✨

🐨🦘 K is for Koala & Kangaroo!🇦🇺✨

This week, our little learners had so much fun discovering some of Australia’s favourite animals! We learned fascinating facts about koalas and kangaroos, including how koalas can sleep for up to 18–22 hours a day and how a kangaroo’s long tail helps it balance. 🐨💤🦘

The fun continued as we moved like Australian animals during our movement song, pretending to be emus, kangaroos, snakes and more! 🐍🎶

To bring our learning to life, we made delicious koala cookies and created our very own K for Kangaroo crafts supporting creativity, fine motor skills and letter recognition. 🍪🎨

Throughout the week, the children also enjoyed playing alongside their friends, practising sharing, cooperation, communication and turn-taking. 💛

🦁🌿 Welcome to the Jungle!🐒🦜

This week, our little explorers went on a wild adventure as we discovered the wonderful world of jungle animals!🌴✨

We learned about different jungle animals and the habitats they call home, exploring the lush jungle environment filled with tall trees, leaves, waterfalls, and dense vegetation. 🌿💦

Our favourite part was becoming jungle animals ourselves! 🐯🐒 The children used their imaginations to make animal sounds, move like their favourite animals, and enjoy our jungle-themed play setup with their friends. Through this playful experience, they developed their communication, confidence, creativity, and social skills while making connections between animals and their environments. 💚

We also had fun matching animals to their habitats and finished the week with a creative lion craft, strengthening our fine motor skills while revisiting everything we had learned. 🦁🎨

What a wild and wonderful week of learning, imagination, and discovery! 🌴🐾✨
