Yesterday Workshop 4 started online for the Perth group as we began our Filial Therapy immersion, and today I’m getting organised for our in person training taking place on over 3 days next week 🌸

Our last workshop for Perth’s group and I’m so looking forward to this (predominantly) Filial Therapy workshop. A few special guests planned for this one too!

It is extremely sad to hear of Dr Louise Guerney's passing today. She had a long and wonderful life, and she has been such an important part of play therapy as we know it. Dr Louise Guerney contributed so much to what we know and practice today in CCPT and was the pioneer, alongside her late husband Dr Bernard Guerney, of Filial Therapy.

Only a few months ago, we heard of the passing of Dr Garry Landreth, and today, the passing of another CCPT pioneer. My condolences to all of Louise's colleagues at NIRE, and may we carry on what these great people have taught us with a heavy dose of their heart and humour.
