Become a palaeontologist for the day these school holidays with Museums Victoria at the Cobram Library!

Go back in time to explore a range of different interpretative fossils with Dinosaurs from Australia and around the world.

The program features:
- Casts of a Triceratops horn, teeth and section of a frill from the from
Melbourne Museum.
- Casts of a Tarbosaurus skull and leg, a carnivore with huge teeth and smaller cousin of the T. rex!
- Koolasuchus cleelandi, an ancient car-sized amphibian and Victoria’s State Fossil Emblem
- Casts of Archaeopteryx, Gallimimus and dinosaur eggs!

Each session runs for half an hour starting from 10:30am!

We had a special visit from two senior Strathmerton primary school children today to read a book each to our kinder children. They were previous attendees of our pre school and were awed when they came in, looking around and remembering their kinder days. They did a fantastic job reading to our children and held their attention for the entire time. The stories were “Where is the green sheep” and a Pig the pug book. The primary school reached out to us for this to happen. It was a great display of community involvement.

As part of our community ANZAC service on Saturday 25th April, we asked our families to donate some flower cuttings from their own gardens so Helen could create a beautiful wreath to lay at our cenotaph during the service. We invited any pre school children and their families to join us in the march as well.
