A remarkable night at SOPAC for our CAS Track & Field team.

Entering the Championships as underdogs for the first time in a decade, our athletes produced a courageous performance, pushing the competition right to the final relay before claiming second place overall behind Waverley College.

There were standout moments across the evening, including Captain Mason McGroder breaking his own CAS Open Long Jump record with a world-class leap of 7.69m, while Tom Blackman set a new CAS 17 Years Javelin record with a personal best throw of 65.47m.

We congratulate Waverley College on retaining the Andrew Reid Shield and thank our athletes, coaches, staff and supporters for another wonderful season.

Before they graduate, our Year 12 students who began their Trinity journey in the Prep School at Strathfield or Junior School at Summer Hill took the opportunity to return to where it all started.

Sharing stories, revisiting familiar spaces and connecting with younger students prompted reflection on the years that have shaped them. From their first days in the classroom to their final weeks of School, their Trinity journey has been one of growth, friendship and discovery.

While their time as students is nearly complete, they will always remain part of the Trinity community.

Recently, our Year 10 students have been spending time at the Preparatory and Junior Schools as part of a buddy program that connects boys across Trinity's campuses.

Working alongside Kindergarten and Year 2 students, they have assisted with hands-on science activities, helping to create a fun, engaging and supportive learning environment. The younger boys have loved learning alongside their senior buddies, while our Year 10 students have embraced the opportunity to lead, encourage and build meaningful connections.

With plans to also support reading, mathematics and outdoor learning activities, the program is already strengthening the bonds of brotherhood that make Trinity such a special community.

This week, students and staff across the School marked R U OK? Day through a range of activities focused on connection, care and wellbeing.

From classroom learning and chapel presentations in the Prep and Junior School to fundraising initiatives, community activities and a whole-school address in the Middle and Senior Schools, students were encouraged to build the confidence to notice when someone may be struggling, check in with care, listen well and seek support when needed.

A highlight of the week was a thoughtful address from Senior School student Daniel J, who reminded the boys that every person carries challenges we may not see and that genuine care begins with taking the time to ask. He also spoke about the comfort found in prayer, encouraging students that God promises peace when we call on Him and that, even in difficult times, we can find confidence in knowing we are deeply known and loved by Him.

With a splash of yellow across our campuses, we came together to reinforce a simple but powerful message: asking "R U OK?" can make a difference, not just today, but every day.

As Trinity marks History Week 2026, we're reflecting on this year's theme, 'Keeping Stories', and the importance of preserving the stories that have shaped our community.

One hundred years ago, Trinity officially opened its doors at Summer Hill, beginning a new chapter in the School's history. From a small collection of buildings and makeshift classrooms to the thriving campus we know today, Trinity has continually evolved while remaining true to its foundations.

Congratulations to our Year 7/8 Touch Football team on being crowned 2026 NSW All Schools Touch Football State Champions.

Competing against the best school teams from across New South Wales, the boys produced an outstanding tournament, winning all seven of their matches to earn a place in the final against Hunter Sports High School. In a fiercely contested decider, Trinity secured a 4-2 victory to claim the state title.

The NSW All Schools State Final brought together 60 teams from regional and metropolitan communities across the state, showcasing the highest standard of school touch football. Throughout the competition, our boys demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all players and coaches on this incredible achievement and a memorable campaign. We are proud to celebrate your success as the best Year 7/8 school touch football team in New South Wales.
