This is a full-time role for an Early Childhood Teacher at Woodgreen Early Learning Centre located in Strathfield, NSW.

The Early Childhood Teacher will facilitate the learning and development of young children between the ages of six weeks to six years old, create and implement educational lesson plans, and provide children with a stimulating and safe environment.

The Early Childhood Teacher will also maintain open communication with parents and share progress reports on their child's development.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
ACECQA-approved qualification
• Experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a childcare or early education setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with children, families and colleagues
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate an educational program taking into account the individual needs of children
• Understanding of child development and its relation to early learning
• Current Working with Children Check
• Excellent organisational, time management and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid Certificate and Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
• Be willing to continuously learn and have a sound knowledge of current childcare and early education practices

• Educator in our small 12 place Nursery Room (0-2 Years)
• Working with a team of dedicated educators who understand the value of creating safe and secure partnerships with children and their families
• Working with the team in collaborative and emergent curriculum with realistic expectations around paperwork and observations. We believe in quality over quantity, with adequate time to complete strictly during work hours.

Desired criteria
• Diploma / Cert 111 in Education and Care
• Knowledge of the EYLF, child development and a strong understanding of the 0-2 age group
• Valid first aid/asthma/
anaphylaxis certificate
• WWCC
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience desirable
