🎉 We’re incredibly proud of our students and their AMEB results this term, as well as the effort and growth each student showed throughout the process. The preparation takes time, patience, and persistence, and it’s rewarding to see that hard work come together. 👍❤️😊
🎼😊 Some ideas that may help students achieve strong exam results:
1. Work on technique consistently 💪
Scales, arpeggios, and other technical exercises help build control and confidence, making it much easier to play pieces musically.
2. Play musically 💕
Alongside technical practice, refine phrasing, dynamics, and expression in a way that suits each student’s level, helping the music sound natural and expressive.
3. Aim for fewer (or no) mistakes👍
Practise difficult sections separately and repeatedly. This helps the whole piece flow smoothly, with fewer errors and greater security.
4. Choose the exam timing carefully✔️
There are two exam periods each year. Enrolment should be chosen wisely - not too early, and not after over-preparing.
🎼✨Students, teachers, and parents working in the same direction. We make sure that home practice supports what is taught in lessons and maintain open communication with parents whenever needed. 🎹😊👍
