Marriage, Family & Personal Counselling. A special interest in teens, bullying, self-harm, and learning differences. An emphasis is given to neuroscience and helping the process of plasticity in the brain. If you stand outside my office when I have a client, what you will hear is fun and laughter. I help young people and adults to build their confidence and build on their own strengths. It is agreed by most experts that the best way to help students who struggle with reading and spelling is a highly structured, growing and multisensory programme. This program needs to move at the speed of the student. As a person with dyslexia myself, through my own education and counselling, I do have an understanding of the emotional impact of dyslexia. I provide an empathic service that is effective and helps with your academic needs. Is your child bright but struggling in
mainstream education? Then Incredible Minds is for you

This is why we dont need homework. School is exceptionally hard with dyslexia because the traditional education system relies heavily on reading, writing, and sequential memory, which are core areas of difficulty. Dyslexic brains process information differently, causing chronic mental fatigue, slow processing speeds, and intense frustration. This often leads to shame, anxiety, and a feeling that school is a daily battle.
