💡 Exploring Circuits in Science 💡

Our students have been getting hands-on with electrical circuits in Science!
They worked together to build and test circuits containing up to four globes, observing what happened to the brightness as more globes and energy sources were added.

Students made predictions, tested their ideas, making changes to their circuits along the way.

Book Week 2026

A Symphony of Stories was certainly told as Stockinbingal Public School joined in the annual Book Week Parade with the Schools of Cootamundra!

There really is nothing quite like Book Week. It is always a highlight of the year and brilliant to see our students embracing the fun, creativity and magic of their favourite stories and characters.

A wonderful celebration of books, imagination and our school community!

Farewell Sonya

This week, we say farewell to Sonya (Mrs Ward) as she leaves Stockinbingal Public School for new adventures.

Since joining us in 2023, Sonya has been an incredibly valued part of our team.

We are so very fortunate to have experienced Sonya’s kindness, generosity and genuine care for others. Whether helping our students, supporting our staff, giving her time at school and community events or simply remembering every single person’s name, Sonya has always gone above and beyond.

Thank you for everything you have given to our school and our community. We are incredibly grateful to have had you as part of our team and wish you nothing but the very best for your next adventure. We know you will be appreciated in your new role. You will be greatly missed by us all at Stockinbingal PS

At Stockinbingal Public School, we're proud to give our students a wide range of experiences and plenty of opportunities to discover something they love..... And we are certainly not afraid of getting a little creative!

Whether it’s music, dance, performance, video and sound production or podcasting. Our students are encouraged to always 'have a go' , develop new skills and to explore their creative sides.

Today, Carolynne Merchant, Director, Educational Leadership visited Stockinbingal Public School. Our school captains and Ms Merchant spent some time discussing Explicit Teaching, student voice opportunities, attendance and what they believe makes our school a great place to learn. They also spoke about their aspirations and areas of growth for our school, speaking about challenges and ways of overcoming these.

Student voice is such an important part of our school culture at Stockinbingal Public School, and we are very fortunate to have such strong and capable student leaders. Well done!

Welcome Mrs Masters and Miss Johnson!

We are delighted to welcome Mrs Madi Masters and Miss Logan Johnson to the Stockinbingal Public School team as School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs).
Our students were incredibly excited to meet and work with Madi and Logan, and have already made them feel welcome as members of our small school community.
Their enthusiasm, care and willingness to support our students will be a wonderful addition to our school.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have across our classrooms.
