💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today we celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads, carers and special people who play such an important part in the lives of our children.

Thank you for the love, support, encouragement, fun, laughter and of course the terrible dad jokes you bring along the way!

We hope you enjoy this special little message from our students.

To all the dads and special people we are celebrating today, we hope you get spoilt, put your feet up and enjoy your day. Thank you for everything you do and for simply being you.

A big thank you to all of the dads, grandads and special people who joined us yesterday for our Father’s Day Breakfast and spent some time in our classrooms.

It was so lovely to see so many of you come along, enjoy breakfast together and share a little piece of the school day with our students. They absolutely loved having you here — and we loved having you too!

A special thank you also to our amazing staff who helped make the morning happen — from organising and preparing breakfast to cooking, serving and making sure everyone was well fed! We’re very lucky to have such a wonderful team who are always happy to pitch in and make these special mornings possible.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning such a lovely one. We hope all of our dads and the wonderful people who play a special role in our children’s lives have a very Happy Father’s Day this Sunday.

What a great way to finish the week with our Friday Assembly!

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. With all of the renovations happening around our school, we are very lucky to still have a warm, dry indoor space where we can come together and celebrate our students.

A huge congratulations to all of this week’s award winners — we are so proud of your achievements and the way you continue to demonstrate our school values of Respect, Challenge and Responsibility.

Thanks for another wonderful week at Stawell West. Have a great weekend and we’ll see everyone on Monday!

A huge congratulations to all of our students who participated in today’s Black Ranges Athletic Sports. We were incredibly proud of the way you represented Stawell West, showing great determination, effort and sportsmanship throughout the day.

A special congratulations to our placegetters:

Marcus – 2nd in Shot Put and 3rd in the 100m Sprint
Solomon – 1st in Shot Put
Lyric – 1st in the 200m and 2nd in Hurdles
Bailey – 3rd in Hurdles

Congratulations also to Marcus, Lyric and Solomon, who have qualified to progress to the Regional Athletics. What a fantastic achievement!

Well done to every student who competed today — you should all be very proud of your efforts and the way you represented our school.

Another sneak peek at our building works!

There has been plenty happening behind the scenes, with some big structural changes now underway. Check out our new raised roofline at the senior end — it’s certainly looking very different!

There’s still a way to go, but it’s exciting to see the progress being made each week and to get a glimpse of what’s to come.
