Today we participated in Earth Hour, each of the rooms turned off the power between 11am and 12pm to contribute in saving power to help our environment. The children played games with torches and pictures of light sources.

Today the children used paper plates, shredded paper and butchers paper to create their bodies. This experience has been an extension on learning about our bodies and about visits to the doctors and nurses at hospital.

Today one of the children bought in a snake skin for show and tell. It was exciting for the children to see and this experience is a great jumping off point to learn more about snakes and reptiles.

Today the children were playing doctors, nurses, surgeons and patients. They dressed up in their uniforms and 'treated' their patients, with bandages and using the stethoscope.

Some of the children role played going on holidays after reading the book, "Spot Goes On Holiday'. They packed their bags and hopped in a boat to go to the beach.

Today the children celebrated Harmony Day by wearing orange and doing Harmony Day art. This is a day of recognising different cultures and celebrating Australia's cultural diversity.

Today the children were dancing to their own chant, painted their clay models and had a great show and tell time.

Today the children had such a great time singing and dancing with Penny, the children always look forward to music time with Penny!

The children had great fun collecting then painting some of the leaves and seed pods from the playground this morning. What a great way to use natural resources from the environment.

The children had fun creating an obstacle course in the playground, working as team lifting and manoeuvring the ladders and frames to create a challenging and exciting activity for all of the children to enjoy.

The Nursery children have had fun today climbing in and out of the shelves and dolls cradles. Rainbow painting with sponges was a great hit with the Toddlers.

The children did group magazine cutting and gluing and group roller painting on a large piece of paper. Also making and playing with play dough has great fun. The children enjoyed manipulating it with their fingers and hands.
