Right place, right time!

This week, our PBL focus is “I am responsible – I go where I am meant to be.”

We are reminding students to:
• Sit in their designated eating area during eating time – including tuckshop days.
• Play games and activities in the correct areas of the school.

Being in the right place at the right time helps keep everyone safe, responsible and ready to enjoy their breaks.

Congratulations, Kestrel!

A huge congratulations to Kestrel House for taking out the House Points Trophy at our Junior Athletics Day!

Well done to all our athletes for their fantastic effort and team spirit throughout the day.

The Year 3/4 classes celebrated NAIDOC week by learning about ochre, bush herbs, symbols and their meanings. We were delighted to have Lousie come and talk to the students about indigenous culture and share her stories.
We also made rainmakers as part of NAIDOC week celebrations.

Get your dancing shoes and Book Week costumes ready! Our School Disco is coming up on Friday 28 August.

Come dressed as your favourite book character and help us celebrate the conclusion of Book Week while raising funds for Year 6 Camp 2027.

Prep - Year 2: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Years 3- Year 6: 6:30pm-8:00pm
Entry: $3

We look forward to seeing plenty of fantastic costumes and some great moves on the dance floor!

Congratulations to Stanthorpe State School Soccer team on a great 1–0 win against Greenlands State School in the City vs Country game!

A big thank you to Greenlands for a fantastic game played in great spirit. Well done to all students from both schools involved for their teamwork, sportsmanship and effort on the field.
