Stanthorpe State High School and the Certificate II Information and Cultural Services students, warmly invite you to attend the opening of the 2026 Stanthorpe State High School Creative Journeys Art Show.

The exhibition will be proudly hosted and supported by the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery at Weeroona Park, with the opening evening on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, at 5.30 pm.

Students will present the artworks and exhibitions created by each year level. Guests will enjoy instrumental music and refreshments as they peruse artworks.

We look forward to celebrating the creativity, talent and artistic journeys of Stanthorpe State High School students, with our school and wider community.

Grade 11 Certificate II in Construction Pathways students are working on a cubby house for the Summit State School. Students have built the project from the ground up and are nearly finished external cladding. This project has been an excellent opportunity for students to learn how a structure is built from beginning to end and the students are doing an excellent job, paying attention to detail and finishing to a high standard!

The Japanese excursion is on the way back to Stanthorpe after a busy day experiencing all things Japanese at the Gold Coast. We expect to be back in Stanthorpe at 6:30pm.

Congratulations to our Year 12 cohort on reaching their '100 Days' milestone this week! We celebrated in style with mocktails and a range of snacks. Thank you to the Student Council for sponsoring the delicious treats, and the Year 11 Hospitality students for their wonderful drinks.
