⭐ We are looking for a qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our welcoming team at Mildura South Kindergarten for 24 hours per week.

What the role offers:

Monday & Tuesday: Teach alongside a supportive and collaborative team, making a genuine difference in the lives of children and families.

Wednesday: Dedicated non-contact time for planning, programming, assessment and professional responsibilities, including non-contact time provided in line with the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement (VECTEA) for Nominated (NS) and Educational Leader (EL) responsibilities.

About You:
✔ Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
✔ A genuine passion for early childhood education and high-quality teaching.
✔ A collaborative approach and commitment to creating engaging learning environments.

Big things are taking shape at Nichols Point, Mildura! ✨

Construction is well underway on the brand-new, purpose-built Nichols Point Early Years Hub - a modern, welcoming space designed to give local children the best possible start to their learning journey.

Delivered by Construction Group on behalf of Rural City Council, the multi-million-dollar project will bring together a new Shine Bright-operated kindergarten, restored early years spaces in the Old Nichols Point School Building, improved parking, a new public toilet, landscaped play and open spaces, and a walking/cycling path through the former irrigation channel land.

On the kindergarten building front....

• Roof sheeting is installed
• External building wrap is complete
• Electrical, plumbing and air conditioning services are installed
• Concrete slabs are in for kindergarten storage sheds
• Underground fire hydrant pipework is complete
• Stormwater drainage is complete

Designed in partnership with Shine Bright early education experts, the kindergarten will feature contemporary learning spaces that meet high standards and support curious, confident and connected young learners.

On track to open in 2027, this exciting new hub will support more families, strengthen the Nichols Point community and create a bright new place for children to learn, play and grow. 🌱

We can’t wait to see this incredible space come to life!

⭐ For nearly 70 years, Fenaughty Street Kindergarten has been part of Kyabram’s story - shaped by community spirit, generations of families and a proud legacy of early learning. As Kyabram celebrates 150 years, we’re looking back at the people and passion behind this much-loved kindergarten.

Kudos to the Development Committee for putting on a great show for this important township milestone.

⭐ When children experience strong early learning environments, the benefits are felt not only by them, but by families, schools and communities.

At Shine Bright, we believe kindergartens are the heart of communities - and at the heart of everything we do is joy - of children learning, families belonging and educators working together.

We love being part of the Mildura community and today we attended the "First Steps to Learning" event at Powerhouse Place. Great to be part of the positive work being done by Mildura Rural City Council, Beginnings Mildura and District Aboriginal Services.

The event was an opportunity for families to meet kindergarten teachers, register for kindergarten and complete school enrolment - good practical steps that pack a punch for a child's educational future and life trajectory.

👏 Great work, everyone! 👍

And remember, the Nichols Point kindergarten will open in 2027 and registration of interest are now open with the Mildura Rural City Council.
