Micro soldering requires precision, the right tools, and the right training.
Our hands-on Micro Soldering courses teach technicians how to repair common logic board faults such as charge ports, FPC connectors, batteries, microphones and more.

Participants work on current devices using industry-standard equipment, including hot air and infrared rework systems, preheaters, and induction soldering irons.

This course is ideal for repair centres looking to bring board-level repairs in-house and for technicians wanting to develop Class 2/3 soldering skills aligned with IPC standards.

One unnoticed static discharge can destroy thousands of dollars’ worth of electronic components. That’s why strong ESD awareness and control across your workforce is critical.

Myth: ESD only causes immediate, visible, traceable failures.
Reality: ESD often results in latent damage, components may appear fine initially, but degrade or fail later, sometimes once they’re already in the field..

AIM Training has extensive experience delivering effective ESD awareness training across Australia and New Zealand. Our courses support critical industries such as Defence and Medical electronics manufacturing and can be tailored to your operations.

Training is available onsite or live online, giving flexibility without disrupting production.
