At the Mining Industry Panel tonight, students had the opportunity to ask their own questions to experienced mining professionals. We discussed the future of the mining industry, the increasing use of automation and AI in mining operations as well as general tips and tricks for joining the industry.

⚒️ MAMA Metallurgy Officer Nominations are now open! ⚒️

Unfortunately we’re saying goodbye to Brit at the end of the semester as she graduates, which means we’re looking for the next Metallurgy Officer to join the MAMA exec team.

If you’re keen to get more involved, help organise BBQs/events, work alongside industry and represent the metallurgy cohort, this is a great opportunity to jump in.
