We're back this Tuesday (4th April)! The Outdoor Art Studio is holding an Autumn Studio these school holidays for primary aged kids. Our program is more relaxed these holidays, it's about creating a space which allows for acting upon spontaneous creative ideas. The studio will take place inside of the VegOut Community Artroom - but you can be sure the outdoors will make it inside at some point!

This coming week (17-19th of Jan) - we are doing workshops that focus on recycling. Tuesday we'll be making magazine bowls (these look awesome), Wednesday - garlands and mobiles made from recycled material of all sorts and Thursday - silly character herb planters. Make sure you book, spots this week are filling up - especially Wednesday!

We created a little creativity space for the tots this morning. A soft rug next to the sand pit with brown paper and soft pastels. It went down so well!

Today's shenanigans! We ended up making fairy houses and pyramids. Tomorrow, we'll be using different printmaking methods including bubble printing. Weee!

Wednesday's workshop: Body outline art! Today was ammaaazing! A group of very fun kids making a lot of mess, with a spontaneous water fight! Luckily the weather was right for us!

This week's workshops are all about MESS! Tuesday's workshop begins the week with action art. Hands, feet, sq**rt bottles, throwing paint soaked sponges, not a clean kid in sight!

Today was so much fun! Circle weaving went down a treat and there's a tree down in the garden that looks nicely adorned 😊 tomorrow, painting with unconventional tools made from sticks, leaves, reeds and drawing with charcoal from the bush!

And so it begins - Tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd) - Workshop 1 of Summer Studio we'll be making nature mandalas and artworks inspired by the natural environment. There are still spaces left so come down in the morning - 10am to 12pm!
