Urban Lyrebirds creates innovative English language resources
and provides professional development to ESL teachers.
It was formed by dedicated ESL teachers who have extensive experience in teaching new migrants, delivering workshops and writing communicative, inventive and culturally inclusive materials. The resources produced by Urban Lyrebirds are suitable for all learners of English, including ESL and literacy students. They are designed to inspire learners and re-invigorate the classroom.

Urban Lyrebirds met today and made quite an impression at our new favourite cafe, Cathedral Coffee in Narm (Melbourne). We turned up in almost the same outfit! Still in sync after 12 years of writing, publishing and presenting workshops. We agreed that the world needs the arts, spots and creativity now more than ever!
