We are looking for a Kindergarten Educator - 12 month Fixed Term - 0.6 position

St Kilda Steiner Kindergarten is a beautiful and caring kindergarten community, built on 20 years of early childhood education, providing a mixed age learning environment dedicated to Steiner pedagogy and free play.

Temporarily located in Murrumbeena, we are seeking a creative, nurturing, warm and gentle educator, who is willing to co-create a nourishing and strong Steiner rhythm for the children in their care.

The successful applicant will be able to commence Term 1, 2023.

It is essential this person has a strong understanding and knowledge of Steiner Education and ideally has experience in a Steiner early  childhood setting or Steiner training.

Their role is integral to the overall kindergarten vision and working collaboratively  to support the teacher is essential.

We are looking for a very special educator, keen to contribute their skills and talents and  who may be  looking to be part of the greater vision of this very special kindergarten.

Qualification:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education  preferred or Certificate III in ECEor equivalent

Training :  
Current First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificate
First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid responsein an education and care setting
Food Safety Handling Certificate as a minimum and a willingness to complete Food Safety Supervision course.
Protecting Children: Mandatory Notification and other Obligations in the Early Childhood Sector.

Salary : VECTEA 2020 pay scale
