We recently celebrated 100 days of school for our Foundation (Prep) students with a whole-school puzzle hunt, activities around the number 100 and... of course, some cake! The whole school enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate our Foundations beginning the school learning journey - including completing our special 100 days puzzle created by the wonderful St Andrews Men's Shed!

Last week, the STAPS students were focused and creative clay artists - working with local artists Andrea and Siena to create clay tiles for the Wadambuk Tile Project. This project is giving new life to tiles carefully saved from the old STAPS site before the Community Centre was built. These old tiles were created by students, staff and community members in the past, and will now be joined by new pieces created by current students, staff and community members. We can't wait to paint them and see them join the other tiles in the wonderful new garden space at Wadambuk.

We would love to talk with anyone interested in the role - either the full role covering all the OSHC sessions (currently before and after school Tues - Fri and 2 days per week in school holidays), or someone who may be interested in part of the role.

Playgroup is back! We are excited to announce that STAPS Little Puggles Playgroup is starting up again... and its moved to Friday mornings! We look forward to seeing children from birth to kindergarten and their caregivers on Friday - all are welcome.

For those who know us… you already know we’re just a little Echidna‑obsessed. These glowing wonders arrived during Winter Solstice and have been greeting everyone at the gate ever since.

I love how our native fence climber, Hardenbergia violacea, has quietly woven itself through our spiky buddy — bringing it to life with colour, character and a whole lot of pizzazz. It’s such a perfect reflection of what we celebrate in our community: unique, creative, and always growing in harmony with the beautiful environment around us.
