It was wonderful to bring everyone together for our first Apprentice & Stakeholder Recognition Day in Mount Gambier recently - a special day to celebrate the Graduating Apprentices.

A big thank you to our Trainers, Staff, and Board Members for the ongoing support you give the Apprentices. And of course, a special thanks to our sponsors, Whiteheads Timber Sales and SYC, for their generous support.

We were also delighted to welcome Employers & Stakeholders from across the community — including government, schools, and training and employment organisations. Your support and involvement play a crucial role in helping our apprentices take the next steps in their careers.

We recently held our very first Apprentice & Stakeholder Recognition Day in Port Lincoln - an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our apprentices as they reach an important milestone in their training.

Behind every student success story is a team of dedicated NEVC Trainers, Staff and Board Members who make it all possible. These days allow us to honour this shared accomplishment and the bright futures our graduates are stepping into.

Congratulations to Isaiah Williams, Finalist for the 2025 Max Davids Award, acknowledged for his hard work and positive contribution.

Isaiah joined the College this year and quickly stood out for his resilience and positivity while meeting extra SACE requirements. As an Air Conditioning apprentice, he shows strong commitment, eagerness to learn, and reliability. Praised by Statewide Group Training for his passion and teamwork, Isaiah has earned respect from teachers and mentors and has a promising future.
