Springdale Heights Pre-School is a not for profit community Pre-School set in the quiet surrounds of the Springdale Heights Educational Precinct. Springdale Heights Pre-School has had a long and distinguished history and continues to provide a community focused service to our families. We have highly qualified staff that are always striving to gain more knowledge and experience in Early Childhood

Education. Our extensive outdoor environment has a large grassed area, large sandpit, creek and forest, fairy garden, climbing equipment, cubby, fresh food garden, digging patch and a water play area which has created an irresistible play space for our children to express wonder and interest as they investigate, imagine and explore their surrounding environment.

Last week, we had the privilege of coming together for a special morning tea to celebrate and acknowledge the guidance of Kellie (Wiradjuri woman) and Denise (Wiradjuri Elder), who supported us in rewriting our Acknowledgement of Country.
We are deeply grateful for the knowledge, care, and cultural insight they shared. It was a meaningful opportunity for our team to listen, learn, and reflect together.
The morning tea was also a wonderful way to mark the publication of our Reconciliation Action Plan with Narragunnawali - an important step in our ongoing journey to reconciliation.

We loved welcoming Justin Clancy MP to our preschool today to chat about the future of community preschools.

Allison and Jayde shared their thoughts on the Start Strong, Pay Fair initiative, along with what recent regulatory changes really look like day-to-day for our educators and our preschool.
Conversations like this mean a lot to us. They give our team the chance to talk honestly about what we see, feel, and experience every day.

Knowing these stories, challenges, and ideas can be taken back to Parliament reminds us that our voices and the voices of our children and families truly matter. We hope that by sharing our reality, it helps shape better understanding and decisions for early childhood education moving forward.
