A beautiful story! Teacher Ms Jacqueline Colwill (Creative Arts) recently shared her mother's story as a young war bride to illustrate Australia's migrant history. This speech was this year's Australia Day Address.

The start of another year as we welcome our new Year 8s and the rest of our students back.

Despite recent weather, Brisbane Girls Grammar School will be open, as planned, on Tuesday 29 January for the start of Term I, 2013.

We understand some families and staff members may not be able to travel safely to and from the School tomorrow and as such we urge them to put their well-being first and remain at home.

Exciting news! In 2013 we will be holding all of our reunions over one weekend, 15 and 16 June! If you are from the Classes of 2008, 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993 or 2003 please put this date in your diary. More information will be sent to you soon.
