We recently had the opportunity to visit CQU to support the next stage of our Engineering Program and the exciting Formula High School project.
Students stepped into real-world engineering environments, working together to plan job allocations, set up production jigs, and begin fabricating their own components. They explored the importance of precision, tolerances, and job card planning—key skills used across the industry every day.
With three groups rotating through different engineering projects, students are gaining hands-on experience while working towards dual-trade pathways. It’s been incredible to see their confidence grow as they engage with tools, machinery, and collaborative workshop environments.
Groups 2 and 3 are gearing up to begin their builds soon, with an intensive 10-day workshop on the horizon.
A huge step forward in building practical skills, industry exposure, and future career pathways! 💡
