A message from our Cultural Captain: Flynn Pelgen

Hi everyone,

TSS is partnering with the RIZEUP charity to do a toy drive this year for Christmas. RIZEUP as an organisation deals with families escaping houses of domestic violence and providing them with homes until they are able to get back on their feet. TSS has offered for each house to donate toys to the children for Christmas this year. The presents will be provided at their new homes. This is a great opportunity for Thorold as a house to lead by example within the school. All types of presents and gifts are welcome for a variety of different ages for both boys and girls. Please encourage your sons to donate or feel free to drop off the presents personally. There has been a pink tub placed right next to the whiteboard across from the MOD desk for the presents to be collected. The deadline for the gifts is the 22nd of November. More details regarding what type of presents are on the page. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out. If you or your son donate, please let me know I am asked to keep a record of the number of presents and the donors.
