What an inspiring night for GeSS Education! ❤️

While we didn’t take home the win at the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards, we were deeply honoured to be a finalist and receive a Highly Commended recognition from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ).

A heartfelt thank you to TIQ and Austrade for helping us establish our programs in India—a journey that has since expanded to Nepal, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. To see how far we have come, and the opportunities we are creating for our students, makes this acknowledgement especially meaningful.

To our wonderful offshore partners, RTO partners and dedicated team: thank you for believing in our vision and helping bring it to life. This recognition belongs to everyone who has contributed to our journey.

It was a privilege to celebrate alongside Premier David Crisafulli and so many inspiring businesses taking Queensland to the world.

Feeling very proud and grateful, with so much still to look forward to. ❤️

💜 Wonderful news for our GeSS Education, SkillsBridge Global and KinBridge Care family!

Cristine Harstorff Russell, Founder and Managing Director of GeSS Education, has been recognised as a 2026 Awardee of Merit at the Gold Coast Women in Business Awards! 👏

Behind GeSS is a woman who believed that education could change lives and had the courage to keep building, even when the path ahead was uncertain.

When COVID hit, Cristine worked tirelessly to move learning online, keep students learning and keep staff employed. Through those difficult years, she never stopped believing in what GeSS could become.

That belief continues to create opportunities for high school students, domestic and international learners, and students studying with us offshore. Through SkillsBridge Global and KinBridge Care, that vision now extends further into employment and care.

Cristine, thank you for believing in people and giving us a vision we’re proud to be part of. We are incredibly proud to be led by you.

From all of us at GeSS Education, SkillsBridge Global and KinBridge Care, congratulations! This recognition is yours, but the joy is shared by all of us. 💜🧡

🏆 We are finalists!

GeSS Education is incredibly proud to be named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards — a national program celebrating the achievements, innovation and leadership of women who own and run small businesses across Australia.

This one is deeply personal, because it's a celebration of our Founder and Managing Director, Cristine Russell.

Cristine built GeSS Education on a simple belief: that education changes lives. But it's the way she's led through the hard moments that has truly shaped who we are. When COVID hit and the entire education sector was thrown into uncertainty, Cristine didn't hesitate — she pivoted GeSS to complete online delivery almost overnight, kept students learning, kept staff employed, and kept the vision alive when so many businesses were simply trying to survive. That agility, paired with sheer perseverance, is what carried GeSS through the toughest years and set us up for everything that's followed.

Since then, under Cristine's leadership, GeSS has grown across high school programs, online delivery, offshore training, industry partnerships, workforce pathways and aged and disability support services — and we're now entering an exciting new chapter with the establishment of our parent company, SkillsBridge Global, and the appointment of Elise Moore as Group CEO.

This finalist recognition is, first and foremost, a tribute to Cristine — to her vision, her resilience, and her refusal to let anything stand in the way of what GeSS could become.

It's been an incredible year, and there's so much more to come.

✨ We couldn't be prouder of you, Cristine. Watch this space!

Yesterday was a fantastic morning connecting with our valued education partners at the GeSS Education Agent Breakfast. ☕🥐

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a morning of conversation, collaboration and new opportunities.

We loved having the chance to share some of our latest updates, including our 2027 programs, university pathway opportunities, the launch of our SIS50321 Diploma of Sport – Coaching & Sport Development, and what’s ahead for GeSS Education.

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and continue building partnerships that create meaningful outcomes for students.

A big thank you to all of our agent partners for your ongoing support and for being part of the GeSS journey. We’re excited about what we can achieve together. 💜🧡

🎉 Congratulations to KinBridge Care!

We're thrilled to celebrate the official launch of Care— the exciting next chapter for our sister company (formerly known as 'Ageing and Disability Support Services') within the SkillsBridge Global family!

As the training arm of the group, we've seen firsthand the passion and dedication the KinBridge team brings to aged care, DVA, and NDIS support every day. Their Registered Nurse-led approach to care is exactly the kind of quality and standards we're proud to help train the next generation of workforce for.

Congratulations to the whole KinBridge Care team on this milestone. Here's to the next chapter, together.
