Yesterday afternoon, the GeSS Education team had the pleasure of attending the Southport State High School Careers Expo, speaking with students about the many education and career pathways available to support their future goals.
It was fantastic to see so many students actively exploring their options and seeking information about gaining industry-relevant skills while still at school.

We are pleased to announce the establishment of SkillsBridge Global as the new holding company for our group of businesses, and the appointment of Elise Moore as Group CEO.
SkillsBridge Global has been created to provide the strategic leadership and structure needed to support our next phase of growth — connecting education directly to employment outcomes, at scale, across Australia and internationally.
Our businesses have grown significantly across high school programs, online delivery, offshore in-country training (India, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines), workforce pathways, university pathways, and the development of our health & social support services workforce. SkillsBridge Global reflects what we are building: a fully integrated education-to-employment platform that doesn't just train people — it creates clear pathways into real jobs, helping to address Australia's most critical workforce shortages.
Elise brings more than 25 years' experience across international education, healthcare, and enterprise growth, including senior roles at Bond University, The University of Queensland, and Torrens University Australia, and most recently as Director of Global Growth at Strategic Education Inc. (NASDAQ-listed). Her expertise in transnational education, offshore partnerships, and workforce development makes her exceptionally well placed to lead this next stage.
On joining the group, Elise shared: "I'm passionate about being part of the solution to Australia's workforce shortages. SkillsBridge Global is positioned to show what a truly integrated education-to-employment ecosystem looks like — and I couldn't be more excited to lead that alongside this team."
