Meet Yoko đź‘‹ Since 2015, Yoko has worked as an early childhood trainer and loves supporting students as they work towards their goals.

For Yoko, good training starts with understanding each student as an individual - their circumstances, their needs and the way they learn best.

She sees active listening as one of her greatest strengths and brings a calm, supportive and practical approach to her work with students.

Yoko holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Certificate III in Children’s Services, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Outside of training, Yoko plays football for the Leichhardt Club and is learning karate with the goal of becoming a black belt one day.
Welcome to the EIM Training team, Yoko.

Meet Amy đź‘‹ Amy is our Childcare Team Leader at EIM Training and has been part of the team since 2022.

With 8 years’ experience in the childcare sector, Amy brings real-world knowledge into the classroom and helps students build the practical skills they need to feel more confident and job ready.

She is known for being honest, practical and supportive - and for helping students connect what they are learning with what actually happens in early childhood education and care settings.

Originally from Wagga Wagga, Amy now calls Queensland home. Outside of work, she is a mum of three, wife of a self-proclaimed Lego master, and apparently has a plant collection that could make you feel like you’ve walked into a nursery.

It turns out she has a natural knack for keeping things alive — plants, student engagement and student confidence included.

The biggest and brightest supermoon of the year will be visible on the evening of Wednesday, November 5. 🌕

This is the second supermoon of 2025 and follows October’s “harvest moon”, which kicked off a series of supermoons.

A third supermoon, known as the “cold moon” is due to rise on December 5.

While the supermoon will peak at 11:59pm, Dr. Brad Tucker, astrophysicist from the Australian National University says the best time to see the supermoon is as it’s rising above the horizon.

In Brisbane, this will be between 6:09pm and 6:20pm.

“When it’s rising on the horizon... that’s when you get to see it looking really huge,” Dr Tucker says.
“The moon’s orbit isn’t a perfect circle, it varies by 40,000 kilometres, which is quite a bit.

“So, sometimes it’s at its closest point in the orbit, which is what we call its perigee, so it’s a bit closer to Earth - just shy of 30,000 kilometres - and so if it’s closer to the Earth it can look bigger and therefore brighter in the sky,” he says.
