Every generation of Southportonians leaves something behind for those who follow.
Through our connection, support, service and commitment, we continue to make a difference across generations.
If you can, your tax-deductible gift before June 30 may help a boy you will never meet begin his own TSS journey - and become one of the boys who follow.

An elite career defined by extraordinary longevity.
This week’s US Open marks (SUR97) 100th consecutive major championship.
There are only four majors each season. That means Adam has played every major for 25 consecutive years without missing one.
He now joins an exclusive club of two. Only Adam and Jack Nicklaus (146 consecutive majors played) have reached this remarkable milestone.
Known throughout the game for his professionalism, resilience and determination, Adam’s achievement is one of the most extraordinary records in world golf.
Remembering his beginnings, Adam also donated a signed shirt to last year’s OSA Mega Raffle supporting bursaries and scholarships for the boys who follow.
Congratulations, Adam, and thank you for the joy you have brought to so many golf fans over the years - and for setting such a fine example for the young golfers of TSS and beyond.
Once a Southportonian, always a Southportonian.

One more dance?
After farewelling Test rugby last year, James Slipper (TUR07) has found himself back in Wallaby contention.
Australia’s most capped Wallaby. The most capped player in Super Rugby history.
Once a Southportonian, always a Southportonian.

For nearly 120 years, the Old Southportonians’ Association has brought us together through friendship, connection and a shared affection for The Southport School.
As Southportonians, we support one another and the School that connects us in many ways. We attend reunions, share stories and memories, volunteer our time, mentor younger generations, preserve traditions and remain connected across decades and around the world.
Together, these contributions have sustained our Association for over a century.
For those who are able at this time, there is now another way to support the boys who follow through tax-deductible giving to the OSA Endowment Fund as well as the option for the OSA Building Fund.

“Roll up your sleeves and give it a crack.”
That was one of the many pieces of advice shared by Old Boys and St Hilda’s Old Girls with more than 400 Year 10 students from both schools at today’s Careers’ Session held at TSS.
From cyber security and law to business, education and beyond, the mentors reflected on successful careers that have rarely followed a straight line.
The common themes? Turn up on time, work hard, be adaptable, show integrity, and don’t be afraid to take chances. There were stories of mowing lawns, working in pubs, chasing cattle, changing directions and embracing unexpected opportunities on career paths.
We’ll give the final word to OSA Councillor Scott Andrews (WAL98) with advice on career choice and more from Ted Lasso, “Be curious, not judgmental.”
Thank you also to Luke Whistler (DEL96), James Macaulay (DEL96), Ian Youngman (DEL96), Iain Twine (THO95), William Cox (BID23), Headmaster Andrew Hawkins (MCK95), Kristy McFarlane (95), Annabelle Mooney, Jane Charters and Brooke Eichhorn for generously sharing their time and experience.

Best wishes to Sosefo (JoJo) Fifita (ATK20) as he takes the field in Game One of the State of Origin series in Sydney tonight.
Amongst his many achievements at TSS, JoJo represented the First XV in 2019 and 2020 and was awarded the Alan Ware Memorial Trophy for Best Defender.
A proud moment to see another Southportonian on Rugby League’s big stage.
Go the Maroons!

Heading to Primex in Lismore? We’d love to see Old Boys at The Southport School stand on Friday 22 May.
OSA President Craig Hobart (THO85) and OSA Treasurer Paul Douglas (SUR98) will be there across the day catching up with Old Boys, while Primex Director and OSA Past President Bruce Wright (RAD84) continues to lead one of Australia’s great regional events.
If you’re attending, drop by the stand for a chat and join us for drinks and refreshments from 4pm Friday afternoon.
(Bruce, pictured, has generously offered free entry for Old Boys - email [email protected] for details.)
