Our Kindergarten children had a wonderful time visiting Musgrave Hill State School for their annual Teddy Bear Picnic! 🧸

The children enjoyed exploring the school environment, participating in fun activities, and sharing this special experience with their favourite teddy bears. Visits like these help build confidence, foster a sense of belonging, and support a smooth transition to school.

A big thank you to Musgrave Hill State School for welcoming us and creating such a memorable day for our future school students!

How lucky are we to have our incredible Junior Kindy team!

Using recycled materials, our educators worked together to design and create this beautiful tree — a special space where imagination can flourish and creativity can come to life.

Their passion, dedication, and love for their environment shine through in every detail. These educators truly care about creating meaningful experiences and magical spaces for our children, putting so much thought and effort into making each day special.

We are so proud of the inspiring learning environments they create for our little learners. 💚♻️🌳

World Environment Day 2026 ♻️🌏

Last Friday, the children explored ways we can care for and protect our environment through hands-on, meaningful play experiences. From investigating ocean pollution in our sensory trays to reusing loose parts and recycled materials in creative play, children were encouraged to think about how their actions can help our planet.

Through these experiences, children developed an understanding of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the importance of caring for living things and natural environments. They explored problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and communication while engaging in rich sensory and imaginative play.

EYLF Connections:
Outcome 2: Children become connected with and contribute to their world by developing respect for the environment and understanding their role in caring for it.

Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners as they investigate, experiment, and use recycled materials in creative ways.

Outcome 5: Children interact verbally and non-verbally to share ideas, discuss environmental issues, and work together during play.

By nurturing environmentally responsible practices from an early age, we are helping children become caring and understand the importance of protecting our world for future generations.

National Reconciliation Week

This week at Kindy, we proudly celebrated National Reconciliation Week by exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, stories, and traditions.

Through meaningful discussions, creative experiences, and learning together, the children developed a deeper understanding of respect, inclusion, and the importance of building strong relationships with First Nations peoples.

“Bridging Now to Next” reminds us that every step we take together helps create a more connected and respectful future for all. ❤️🖤💛
