After leaving school at 16, Eleanor waited 14 years before taking the leap into higher education. She went on to become our Trimester 1 Valedictorian last year and the top-performing student in her graduating class 🎉🎓

As we prepare to celebrate our newest graduates next week, we’re reminded that every journey is different and every achievement is worth celebrating❤️

NAIDOC Week celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC with the theme “50 Years of Deadly.”

Meet Amendah 👋

She’s an international student from PNG with big dreams and the drive to match. Since completing her Diploma of Criminology and Criminal Justice, she’s now studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) — with her sights set on becoming a human rights lawyer ⚖️

Amendah says small class sizes, supportive lecturers, and hands-on learning helped shape her experience, and that getting involved on campus and using support services made all the difference.
