A friendly reminder to all our LEAD Childcare Southport families that our centre will be CLOSED on Friday, 28th August for the Gold Coast Show Public Holiday.

Yesterday
our educators, children and families proudly wore their favourite denim to support Jeans for Genes Day!

This special day is about raising awareness and funds for children and families affected by genetic conditions, helping to support life-changing medical research and improve the lives of thousands of Australians.

At LEAD, we believe in fostering kindness, empathy and a strong sense of community. By coming together for important causes like this, we are helping our children understand that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who wore their jeans and donated to support this wonderful cause. Together, we’re helping create a brighter future for children and their families. 💙🧬

Pre-Kindy Term Focus 💛

Supporting emotional wellbeing in the early years lays the foundation for lifelong learning, healthy relationships and positive mental health. We are so proud of the kindness, self-awareness and emotional growth our Pre-Kindy children have shown throughout this journey.

LEAD Childcare Southport had the best time at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic Community Event hosted by Broadwater Early Years Network at Musgrave Hill State School. 🧸✨

What a wonderful morning of community, connection, and play! Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun. Our sensory tray was a huge hit, and it was lovely to see so many children exploring, learning, and making memories together.

We love being part of such a supportive local community and can’t wait for the next event! 💛

Bring along your favourite teddy bear and enjoy a relaxed community event filled with opportunities to connect with local schools, early childhood services, and community organisations. This is a fantastic chance for families and children to meet others in the community while enjoying a fun-filled morning together.
