⭐️Parent Workshop “Big Emotions”⭐️
A big thank you to our Nurse Practitioners “Monique” from Baa Baa Baby for sharing her knowledge, practical strategies, and valuable insights to help families support children through challenging emotions.
It was great to see parents and caregivers come together, ask questions, share experiences, and strengthen connections within our community. By working together, we can help children build emotional resilience and develop healthy ways to express their feelings.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive and engaging session. We look forward to continuing to support our families and community through future workshops.

We held a Mother’s Day afternoon tea in our piazza and also had a grab and go selection of goodies held in our reception area!

💡 After hours, but never off duty! 💡

At our bi-monthly team meetings we meet to plan, reflect and share our ideas.

We also celebrated Nido Recognition Day and were lucky enough to have our cook Gemma make us some scrumptious Italian dishes. We thought Italian cuisine was very fitting for the occasion as Nido means “nest” in Italian and we are so proud to all be apart of the nest at Nido Southern River. 🪹❤️

This week, our Educators and Children spent time learning about ANZAC Day and why it’s an important part of Australian history. Through stories, creative poppy painting, and baking delicious ANZAC biscuits, we explored the meaning of remembrance together. 🎨📖🥣
