An important update on the future of tutoring sessions in response to COVID-19:
Hi Everyone!
Due to the nature of coronavirus, face to face classes will no longer be held at Bentleigh or Parkdale public libraries. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of both myself and students (and the wider community for that matter!). Tutoring sessions will still be available to book online and will be conducted using online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts and Zoom. I will do everything in my power to ensure the quality of teaching will not be affected during the transition.
This change will be effective until further notice from the Victorian government concerning the situation.
Please take care and stay safe :)

My name is Stephanie and I am a University student that completed VCE in 2017. During my VCE year, I had scored 40+ within four of my subjects (including Japanese) and received an ATAR of 94.35. Now, I am studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne as well as completing a Diploma of Languages in Japanese Studies.
I believe that my own experiences in VCE will provide valuable insight for students looking to gain a head start. Yes, I agree Japanese is a difficult subject and yet, learning a language was the single most rewarding thing that I took away from high school. Learning Japanese has allowed me to communicate with different people, understand a culture completely foreign to my own, broaden my world view and most of all granted me experiences that I would have never been able to have otherwise.
Nothing worth doing is ever easy. But, that doesn't mean it can't be fun!
