Today our Staff are enjoying pumpkin soup. With the past few weeks of illness running through our staff some warm yummy soup was on the menu.

We have been focusing on our sustainability over the past 3 months and our containers for change project is doing well.♻️ ♻️♻️♻️

We have raised $115.50 during March-May. This is 1155 containers recycled by our families and staff. All proceeds are being collected and saved to purchase play equipment for the children.

We have put an expression of interest board out for families, staff and our children to share their ideas. We will have a fundraising goal on display in the coming weeks that the children will be working on as a project.

Today the children are having a collaborative outdoor learning morning. We’ve had a week of sickness come through with staff and children and a big outdoor day is what we needed before the rain sets in next week 😊

Each room provided a spontaneous experience to share with the Centre. The children are enjoying the free flow messy play, dancing and an obstacle course. There smiles and interactions says it all 🍂 🌳 ☀️ 💦

We have been focusing on staff wellbeing here at ACELC. We have created a wellness team who have been discussing ways to ensure our staff are well cared for and enjoy their workplace.

Today we are hosting a ‘Feel Good Friday’ where staff are encouraged to come out and take a break or spend their lunch break outdoors. They can colour in or paint a pot plant 🪴 and have a snack at their leisure.

Previous weeks we held a Wellness Wednesday with toasted hot cross buns, Toastie Thursday where staff made a toasted sandwich of their choice & Tasty Tuesday where we had a Centre sausages sizzle with the children. These acts of kindness encourage wellness with in our workplace to support Educator wellbeing socially, emotionally and spiritually 🧡💜

In the spirit of this joyous occasion, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for you all being part of our Christian Early Learning family.

🍃 🍂 🩵It’s Time 🍃🍂🩵
🙏🏻 Open day 22nd January 2024 🙏🏻

Well the time has come for ACELC to open its doors at our new location on the Secondary Campus at 1100 California Crescent South Yunderup.

We would love to say that this project was a breeze but we assure you there was a lot of blood, sweat and many many tears with the process. One that we all have journeyed along and supported one another with.

We can not wait to see some little people running around with laughter and joy. (The tradies sure aren’t as fun 😂😂)

Please watch the slideshow below of the build progress. We can not wait for you all to see the final product over this coming week. Please make some time to wonder around and look at all our favourite features in the Centre. (Mine is the automatic paper towel dispensers 😂)

We pray the transition into the new Centre is a smooth one for our Staff, families and children and we look forward to all the future planning we have for our journey ahead. We pray for your blessings and prosperity over our Centre Lord Jesus, Amen 🙏🏻

Merry Christmas and A happy and Prosperous New Year to all our families and community 🩵

Just a friendly reminder that our Centre will reopen on the 15th January 2024 at our new location on California Crescent at our Primary/Secondary campus.

Our friendly staff will be at the new Centre the week of the 8th January finalising all the rooms for a year filled with amazing opportunities. We can not wait to share our new space with you all. We are all still in awe of our Centre and you are all going to love the large outdoor areas 😬🙌🏻

Friday 10th November was Directors day. In recognition of the important role that our Early Childhood Directors play in the life of the children in their education and care services.

Our Explorers room got busy over the week creating this beautiful work of art for our Director Chantelle, to show how much appreciation we have for her. The children were so proud off their creative and thoughtful gift 🧡
