On Wednesday morning, our Year 10 Child Studies students headed out to Captain Bligh Early Learning Centre for a fantastic morning of hands-on learning and fun!

Lifted GO!

On Tuesday, 18 August, ten Year 8 and Year 9 students attended CSPD’s LIFTED Go at West HQ, Rooty Hill, accompanied by Miss Samson and Miss Kisur. Run by Catholic Youth Parramatta, the event brought together secondary students from across the Diocese of Parramatta for an eye-opening day exploring the significant issue of the cost-of-living crisis and the 2026-2027 Social Justice Statement.

Bishop Vincent Long encouraged students to respond to social injustice with compassion and action, challenging them to become “prophets of hope” within their communities.

Students also heard from Jesuit Social Services and participated in activities, singing and dancing, while connecting with students from other CSPD schools. Overall, LIFTED Go provided students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of social justice and recognise how they can help build a more compassionate, fair and hopeful community.
