Celebrating Student Leadership and Achievement

I’m incredibly proud to share that two talented young leaders I’ve had the privilege to work with have been published in the Australian Council of Student Voice Journal: Reconnected!

Today, I had the privilege to celebrate a special moment with a small part of the team that has been by my side and grown with me over the past 34 years. My parents, grandparents, wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law grandparents-in-law, son and numerous others have been constant guides throughout this journey—from my very first steps to tirelessly assisting with assignments, providing that essential morale boost during the 11:59 deadline crunch, and even serving as a delightful distraction during those 5000-word marathons.

Every person in the photos and the hundreds who aren’t captured have played a crucial role in getting me to where I am today.

As someone holding a Masters in International Education, I can assert with confidence: never underestimate the significance of the little things you do to support your child, grandchild, or student. The efforts you put in today lay the groundwork for these young individuals to possess the tools to shape the world tomorrow!

Student leaders are more then doing Jobs. At EPS our student leaders are leaders of action. Always doing everything they can to help our school become a safe and inclusive space. Though fundraising, grants and donations our Student Voice Team has been able to support our school in getting two defibrillators for our school. This is what Leadership in Action looks like at EPS!
