At the end of last term 6M spent a lot of time using our imaginations and promising to ourselves that in this day and age of technology use that we will never lose our imaginations. The last day of school saw the students participate in a variety of activities which required them to use their imaginations.
The first was to collect things from the ground around the school,and then make a picture.
The second was to design an artwork, starting only with a dot.
The third was to use a roll of toilet paper (and some other craft items) and dress a ‘model’.
The day was a lot of fun and made everyone realise how important it is to use (and never lose) our imaginations.

🎶 Our students shone on stage at the Macleay Public Schools Music Festival tonight! ✨ A big thank you to Mrs Rushton, Courtney and the whole organising committee for all their hard work and practice preparing our students. 🙌 It was a great show of the musical talent across all of the public schools. 🎤🎸🎻👏

🏐 NSW North Coast Regional Netball Final 🏐

A fantastic effort from our school netball team at the NSW North Coast Regional Final!

While we didn’t get the result we were hoping for, the team played some great netball, were very competitive against some strong teams and had plenty of fun along the way.

A big thank you to Gill for coaching and Tracey for umpiring. We really appreciate you giving your time to support our students.

🌧️ The rain didn’t dampen our spirits today! We had a cute kangaroo and her joey on our top oval this morning 🦘💚. Our chess team also had a fabulous day at the Macleay Public Schools Chess Tournament ♟️🏆. Plus, Uncle Mal continued didgeridoo lessons, which was fantastic! It’s great to have our high school students involved from both Melville High School and Kempsey High School, ensuring they have a greater understanding of their culture 🎶💫.
