There were plenty of ways to check in and connect at school today as we got behind R U OK? Day. 💛

Hot chocolate and cupcakes at recess, then an All-Star Basketball showdown between staff and students at lunch. The students came away with the win, sinking the winning shot at the buzzer!

A special shoutout to SRC Chair Lawson Marquis (Year 12), who baked 300 cupcakes to help raise funds, with his mum Lisa in charge of the icing. An incredible example of servant leadership! Thank you both.

Last week was full of house spirit!

The Middle and Senior School Athletics Carnivals were held on Thursday, followed by The Wesley Gift and Junior School Athletics Carnival on Friday.

One of Wesley’s longest-running traditions, The Gift sees runners from Years 1 to 12 compete in a handicapped race, with staggered starts based on each student’s running velocity. Congratulations to Miles in Year 6, who took out this year’s race for the second year in a row!

Here are some highlights from an action-packed few days on the track.
