This week, we were informed that the Department of Education has changed its position regarding the South Murwillumbah Infant School site. The site will no longer be sold by tender, and instead they are now looking at another state agency potentially taking over the site.
We have also received confirmation that our lease has been extended until December 2027.
At this stage, we do not have any further information to share, but we will continue to keep our families and community updated as we learn more.
Thank you for the incredible support, kindness, and encouragement you have shown Possums Preschool as we continue to navigate this process. We are so grateful for our amazing community 🙏🏽🫶🏽

Let’s do this!!!!! Let’s keep Possums Preschool operating in our community. It’s not just about us, it’s about the families and the children in our broader community, and the future children who need this service. Keep an eye out for our go fund me page and for up and coming community fundraisers. I have no doubt our incredible community can make this happen. Let’s go…
