π± Sustainability Workshop π±
Last week, our children enjoyed a hands-on Sustainability Workshop, exploring ways to care for our environment through fun and engaging activities. As part of Reconciliation Week, they also participated in Aboriginal-inspired experiences that celebrated First Nations cultures and connections to the land.
We are proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to learning about sustainability! π

πβ¨ Quiet Time Magic β¨π
While some of our friends are enjoying a peaceful rest, others are busy engaging their minds through quiet-time activities. Today, teamwork, problem-solving, and persistence were on display as these little learners worked together to complete a giant puzzle.
Activities like puzzles help children develop concentration, spatial awareness, critical thinking, and social skills, all while having fun in a calm and relaxed environment.
We love seeing our children so focused, engaged, and proud of their achievements during quiet time!

I would like to introduce you to our...
Little Chefs!!
Our Juniors travelled to Italy and made their own pizzas. They used cut out ingredients to put on top of their pizza.
During a group session they were able to recognise items such as "mushroom" and "salami."
This definitely made the room hungry... mmm pizza.

Today May 26th, we observed National Sorry Day to acknowledge the history of the Stolen Generations and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
This yearβs theme, βFrom Sorry to Action,β action means learning how to be kind friends, sharing our space, and celebrating connection together.
For our sensory art experience, children created a meaningful Aboriginal Flag using sand and paints. With little hands full of curiosity, they squeezed, mixed, and spread the colours red, black, and yellow while eagerly watching the colours come together.
π€ Black (top): Aboriginal peoples
β€οΈ Red (bottom): the earth and connection to Country
π Yellow circle (centre): the sun, giver of life
