Week of Giving 💜

Following our successful Pyjama Day fundraiser, we continued our commitment to giving back to the community through our biannual pantry goods donation to our local food bank, Father Bob’s Foundation.

Over the past month, our wonderful families have generously donated pantry goods and non perishable items. Last week was the time to deliver these donations with a different room going for a walk each day to drop off the collected items.

As always, the Father Bob’s volunteers welcomed us with open arms and supported the children as they helped stack the donations onto the shelves. It was a wonderful opportunity for children to be involved in giving back and connecting with our local community.

Thank you again to our amazing families for your generosity and support. We look forward to seeing the Father Bob’s team again in November 😊

Happy NAIDOC Week 🔴🟡⚫️

Thanks to Didgeridoo Australia we get to celebrate with an amazing Didgeridoo Concert and learn more about Aboriginal culture.

Big shout out to DJ Sean Candy for an incredible mix of techno and didgeridoo music that had everyone up and dancing 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️👯

Everyday is Educator’s day when you have amazing families to spoil you 🤩

Today, on Mabo Day and the final day of National Reconciliation Week, we reflect on this year’s theme “All In”, a reminder that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility.

As a centre, we remain committed to embedding First Nations perspectives into our daily practices, environments and curriculum in meaningful and respectful ways. Together, we continue learning, listening and strengthening our connection to Country, community and culture.

Celebrating our beautiful Nat’s birthday and her 10 year anniversary with City Kids! 🎉💛

We are so grateful for everything you do and for ALWAYS being in our corner! Your kindness, support and laughter mean so much to all of us. We truly appreciate you and everything you bring to the team 🤗

The Kinders had the opportunity to learn about the role and responsibilities of an MP while exploring our surrounding community and the people who contribute to it. Together we drew our houses, surrounding buildings, and the different types of transportation we use to get to City Kids🏡🚗🚌

At the end, they asked some philosophical questions like “Why do you work there?” which we believe left Nina reflecting on her life choices as a politician 😂
