Archiball is excited to annouce that we will be continuing the party into 2016 with bigger and better installments. This year we will be hosting Archiball at Ms Collins, the sister venue to Alumbra from Archiball 2015.

Archiball unites the four Architecture Schools in Melbourne for a night of entertainment and glamour. Our Friends at Monash SONA, SONA University of Melbourne, SONA RMIT and SONA Deakin will be offering cheaper Early Bird Tickets to SONA members of 2016 until the 24th March.
(for earlybird ticket, proof of 2016 sona membership is required)

TL;DR

A lot has to go right to bring together 317 students and pull off the best night of the year for archi kids. Luckily it did and I have all of you to thank!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!

I hope Archiball was just as amazing a night for you as it was for me. We had a beautiful and newly renovated Alumbra which radiated with perfection last Thursday evening. Next year we will be hosting Archiball in the equally gorgeous Ms. Collins and is bound to be even better!

I wanted to thank everyone that helped in putting this together; Sienna & Simone were both vital in the organisation of the finer details in the lead up and on the night. Thanks as well to Nick, Tanya & Will for the help in promoting and crowd control on the night. Couldn't have done it without you!

Archiball was backed by the Institute last year but this year we wanted to fly solo to prove how powerful students can be. It was nerve racking to see several thousand dollars drained from my personal bank account to pay security deposits and the bond but I can now say that it was all worth it. Seeing hundreds of people dance and forget the perils of studio for a night is a thrill that I can't explain.

Next year Archiball will fall on the shoulders of the enthusiastic and socially remarkable Sienna Tardini. I had a great time over the last two years putting on this show but it's time for bigger and better things and she is the perfect person to fill that role.
