Airhygiene Services and Airhygiene Training are both divisions of Airconstruct HVAC, a fully licensed and accredited Airconditioning business that has been in operation since 2001. With strong relationships already in place with all the major airconditioning equipment manufacturers, it makes sense to us that we should make more of an effort to capture the split system cleaning market and support these manufacturers nationally. One goal of ours is to drive out the unqualified operators so we can make sure people doing the work are trained to a benchmark standard and people paying to have work carried out, actually have healthy air inside their homes and offices. We will achieve this with a team of handpicked people, trained in industry best practice by airconditioning industry professionals who are still very active in delivering airconditioning service and construction projects. We are expanding our footprint nationally over the course of 2019 and will need to recruit a team of people that have a desire to succeed. Unlike the other major players in the hvac hygiene market, we don’t sell franchises or licenses as we value the fabric of Australian society, are able to give people a place with job security and, as such, offer full time work with entitlements and a new company vehicle and all the correct fit for purpose equipment.
This is the first step in what will be an extensive selection process which may involve on-line testing and, quite likely, up to three interviews that could run over a timeframe of 8-12 weeks. We do not require people for an immediate start. To apply you must have held an open manual licence for a minimum of three years and be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing in line with our company policies that apply to the entire business. Full in-house training will be provided to a certificate 2 level (we wrote the certificate) and any experience in the airconditioning space will be highly regarded.
