The upcoming Korean zombie thriller Colony marks the latest work of acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho, whose previous films such as Train to Busan (2016) and Peninsula (2020) helped define the modern “K‑zombie” genre and earned him international recognition. 🧟♀️🧟♂️
Before its wide release, Colony premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on May 15, where it became one of the event’s most talked‑about titles, with long queues and a 7-minute standing ovation! The buzz carried over to Korea, where the film has vastly outperformed other 2026 releases, hitting over 2 million admissions within days!
Don't miss this defining genre release of 2026 - you'll find early screenings at Sydney Film Festival on 4th & 5th June, or make sure to see what all the fuss is about when the film premieres in select Australian cinemas from June 11. 🍿📽
Thanks to distributor K-Movie, we have a limited number of tickets available for current students - keep an eye on your student emails for your chance to grab a ticket! 🎟
