Unfortunately due to impending severe weather and destructive high winds our Stirling Farmers Market has had to be CANCELLED for Sunday 31 May. Please share.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE SHARE WIDELY
Unfortunately due to the impending bad weather expected on Sunday - we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s
Whilst we realise many of our customers rely on our market to provide them with their weekly shop - and endeavor to open if at all possible, including during quite serious rain - because of our gazebo infrastructure, severe winds simply make it too dangerous for us to operate.
At present we still seem still to be enjoying the calm before the storm, but the overwhelming consensus seems to be that tomorrow will definitely bring winds that will make running our market impossible.
We apologise to all for any inconvenience and hope everyone stays safe this long weekend
See you next weekend!

The Rotary Club of Karrinyup has had a long association with supporting Foodbank WA, having been involved since its inception in the early 1990’s. We were delighted that a team could represent the club at a recent thank-you event for supporters. What a delightful evening it was! Even the catering was provided by generous supporters!

Ever wonder where the Rotary Club of Karrinyup raises the funds to support all of our amazing projects? Every Sunday, rain or shine, you will find club members and Friends of the Market cheerfully volunteering to make the very popular Stirling Farmers Market happen. Needless to say, it doesn't just happen on Sunday morning; there are hours of work during the week to ensure our wonderful stall-holders are kept up to date, and all goes smoothly on each market day. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS DAY!

How far can your old bike go? About 10,000km....if you give it a second life with Bicycles for Humanity (WA). The Rotary Club of Karrinyup supports this amazing project, where fabulous volunteers repair old bikes and put them to work in some of the world’s poorest regions. Many of us have old bicycles we no longer use. If you would be happy to donate them to this fabulous Rotary project, Rotary Club of Karrinyup has secured approval for St Stephen's School, Duncraig, to serve as a drop-off point. This is the plan for May 2026. Drop off bikes at Student Services, at the school between Tuesday, 26 and Thursday, 28 May. Bicycles for Humanity (WA) will pick up Friday, 29 May. Too easy!

In 2017, the Rotary Club of Karrinyup delivered a purpose-built vehicle, designed to function as a mobile ear clinic, to the Earbus Foundation of WA. After operating for several years throughout remote areas of Western Australia, it was brought to Perth for necessary repair and maintenance work. Before heading back to work in the Kimberley, the renovated Earbus recently made a visit to the Stirling Farmers Market.
