Check out our new design for the Sorell Childcare!

Designed by “Brown Falconer” a leading national architect that has a specialty in childcare, the centre embraces a contemporary & modern barn style that blends seamlessly with the local landscape. The warm, homely feel encourages engaging learning environments both inside and out.

We are still working on what our outdoor play area will look like but be assured that it will be the latest & greatest.

Sorell Childcare will be conveniently located on the corner of the Arthur Highway and Clifton Drive. A perfect destination to drop off your bubs before heading into Hobart CBD for work or into Sorell for a shop, as we are only a few hundred meters down the road.

And here is a sneak peak of the Sorell Centre plan!

It will have room for around 110 children aged 0-5 years. The plan also includes a full-service kitchen and almost 1,000 square meters of dedicated outdoor play area. Hope you like it!

One area where our developments are different to others is the investment in public art… Our design team have been working hard on public art ideas for our Sorell Child Care centre and have come up with a concept called “I Hear You” which has drawn inspiration from other public facilities around the world.

It is a sculptural form designed to enable communication between two kids; it’s bright, colourful and interactive and engages various senses whilst the design will probably reference local plant life. Hope you like it!
