Every day, children are exploring what it means to listen, to respect and to understand.

Through connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, these moments become part of how they see the world.

Today, all our centres across Australia will be taking part in Simultaneous Storytime 📚

At 12pm AEST, children will come together to read Luna Roo – The Kangaroo Baller, sharing a moment of storytelling at the same time!

Ramanpreet stepped up and beautifully led our 3YO program throughout the month, and we couldn’t be more proud of the amazing job she did. 💛

She brought so many creative ideas, collaborated wonderfully with everyone in the Studio, and approached her program with thoughtfulness and intention every single day. Her dedication, passion, and positive energy truly made a difference for both the children and the team.

This year, we’re proud to be partnering with Mums Supporting Families in Need, a wonderful local charity that supports families in our community. 💙

We are collecting donations for their Winter Woollies Drive 🧣
They are in need of items such as jackets, jumpers, blankets, doonas, winter PJs, gumboots, and slippers.

Donations can be brand new or pre-loved (in great condition), and all kids’ and adult sizes are welcome.

If you’d like to contribute to this amazing cause, we’ll have a collection box set up in the foyer.

🚒🔥 What an exciting morning at Kinder today! 🔥🚒

the amazing team from Somerville Fire Brigade came to visit us for a fun and interactive fire safety talk! The children learned all about having a safe meeting place at home, what to do when a smoke detector goes off, and even practiced the important “Stop, Drop & Roll” technique.

The highlight? Getting hands-on with a real fire hose! 💦😄

A big thank you to our local heroes for helping us stay safe while making learning so much fun!

Inspired by the book Henry & Ella’s Big Jar of Kindness by Andrey Lane, the children at Sparrow Early Learning Pacific Pines explored the impact of kindness and empathy through the creation of kindness rocks to share positivity, care, and thoughtful actions with others.

To all children leaving the Sparrow nest to commence their first year of formal schooling in 2026, what a privilege it has been to walk alongside you during these critical early years of growth and development. May you continue to grow in confidence to explore and learn, increase your resilience and persistence with hard things and see the world with curiosity, wonder and kindness.
