💙 Father’s Day Breakfast at St Brendan’s 💙

What a wonderful morning celebrating the special dads, grandads, step-dads and father figures in our St Brendan’s community! 🥰

Our Father’s Day Breakfast was filled with smiles, laughter, delicious food and, most importantly, precious time together. It was beautiful to see our students proudly sharing the morning with the special people who mean so much to them.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special. We hope you enjoyed every moment as much as we did!💙

Maths came to life today as our Year 1/2 students headed outside on an array hunt! 🌿👀
Working together, they searched for objects in our outdoor environment that could be arranged into equal rows and columns. From natural materials to objects around the playground, our students were busy spotting, building and talking about arrays! 🌱🪵
A fantastic hands-on way to develop their understanding of multiplication, equal groups and mathematical thinking all while having fun! 💡👏

A massive congratulations to all our incredible St Brendan’s Girls that play for the U12 Girls Westernport Pumas, who are officially Premiers after an absolute nail-biter, winning their Grand Final by just ONE POINT! Enjoy every moment, girls, you’ve earned it! 💙🩷
🏆💙💛 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 💛💙🏆
A massive congratulations to all our incredible St Brendan’s boys who play for the U12 Somerville Eagles, who are officially Premiers after defeating South Mornington 47–31 in the Grand Final! Finishing the season in 4th place before charging through the finals to win the premiership is an incredible achievement. Enjoy every moment, you’ve earned it! 💙💛🏆

What a wonderful buzz around our Literacy Learning Expo! Our school was filled with proud students, excited families and plenty of smiles as parents, family and friends came along to celebrate and admire the incredible literacy learning taking place at St Brendan’s. 💛✏️📖

📚 Teddy Bears, Buddies & Books! 🧸✨

Our Book Week celebrations continued with a very special Teddy Bears’ Picnic with our buddies! 🧺🐻
It was wonderful to see our older and younger students come together, sharing stories, laughter and lots of cuddles with their favourite teddy bears. What a beautiful way to celebrate the joy of books and the special friendships that make our school community so wonderful! 🥰

💙NEW Father’s Day Stall Process💙
To make our Father’s Day Stall run even smoother, we are changing the process:
💰 Students will bring their spending money to school in a named zip-lock bag during the week leading up to the stall. Money will be exchanged for tokens worth $1 and $5 the day before the stall.
🎁 They will use their tokens to purchase their gifts, no cash handling or lining up to pay!
💵 Any unused tokens will be exchanged back into cash and sent home in the provided ziplock bag on Friday.
We can’t wait for another fantastic Father’s Day Stall! 💙

Our Year 5/6 students have started creating their air-dry clay dragon eyes... and WOW! 🐉👁️✨
The creativity, colours and textures are all so incredible. We can’t wait to see these masterpieces once they’re finished! 🎨💚
