Small Schools Athletics Carnival 🏃🏽🏃🏼‍♀️🏅

A fantastic day of running, jumping, throwing and cheering at our Small Schools Athletics Carnival! Our students gave it their all and supported each other every step of the way. 👏

Plenty of smiles, plenty of effort and some very proud moments! 🌟

Thank you to our families and community for joining us as we celebrated the learning, connections and opportunities that make our school such a special place.

A special highlight was celebrating our strong partnership with Kariong Mountains High. From shared learning experiences to opportunities for our students to connect with older peers, this partnership shows the power of our schools working together to create richer experiences for every student.

Back in the science lab! 🧪💫

Our students enjoyed another exciting visit to Kariong Mountains High as part of the Science Outreach Program. Today, they developed their hypothesis and began designing and building bridges to test whether a bridge made from paddle pop sticks will hold more weight than one made from paper straws.

We can’t wait to see their investigations continue next session!

🐝 Spelling superstars in action! 🐝

Congratulations to Hudson and Gracie on representing our school at today’s Regional Spelling Bee!

Both students did an outstanding job, spelling with confidence and composure against strong competition. A special congratulations to Hudson, who finished as runner-up – an incredible achievement!

We are so proud of both students for the way they represented our school. Well done!

When students have a voice, great things happen! 🌿

Our new mud kitchen is a fantastic example of student ideas becoming reality. It opened today and is already a playground favourite. A huge thank you to our amazing General Assistant, Mr Phil, for bringing our students’ vision to life. We can’t wait to see the creativity, imagination and learning this special space inspires. 💫

What a fantastic day of creativity and collaboration! 🎵🥁

Our students joined friends from our local small schools again today for a Creative Arts Day at Peats Ridge Public School. Students enjoyed a Musica Viva performance, a wonderful showcase by students from Kariong Mountains High, and hands-on dancing and drumming workshops. A great day of learning, performing and creating together! 💫
