🍕🤝 Meal Deal 🤝🍕

Today students enjoyed delicious pizzas for lunch, followed by chocolate cheesecake dessert to celebrate the end of another busy and successful term.

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for a wonderful term of learning and achievement. We wish everyone a safe, happy and restful holiday break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the first day of Term 3 on Tuesday 21st July.

👋⚽ Scones, Soccer & See ya ⚽👋

What a wonderful way to finish the week at Sofala Public School! Students and staff enjoyed watching the Socceroos take on Paraguay, sharing in the excitement and cheering on Australia together.

We were also treated to some delicious scones and home-made jam donated by Mrs Kitley. Thank you for your generosity – they were very much appreciated by everyone! 🫶

Friday also marked the final day of Mrs M's four-week professional placement with us. During her time at Sofala PS, Mrs M embraced every opportunity, built positive relationships with students and staff, and made a valued contribution to our school community.

Thank you, Mrs M, for your enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life. We wish you all the very best as you continue your teaching journey and know you have a bright future ahead! 🌟🍎

💛 Courage to Care 💚

On Monday, we hosted Lue Public School to participate in the ‘courage to care’ program which encourages students to be upstanders not bystanders.

A thank you to Jackie for delivering the engaging session. In between sessions, students worked in groups on a bridge building STEM challenge.

💥Save the dates!💥

We are excited to welcome families back to Sofala Seedlings next term!

Sofala Seedlings is a free community playgroup for children aged 0–5 years and their parents/carers. It provides a wonderful opportunity for children to learn through play, develop social skills, and become familiar with the school environment, while parents and carers connect with other local families.

There is no need to book – simply come along and join the fun!

We look forward to seeing returning families and welcoming new ones to our growing Sofala Seedlings community. 💚
