Linda, our Early Childhood Teacher, considers inclusive practice, ensuring all children have a positive time at the service. A provocation was provided, encouraging children to create play prompt cards to add to the sensory play experience.

We are continuing to work on the prompt cards, enabling children to scribe their thoughts on how they can include each other in play. In turn, children develop skills to initiate and join in play with others.

The younger children were invited to explore the colours of spring provocation.

Through this provocation they were able to use play to investigate and explore their ideas through play. Lights and mirrors were added to provide a different element.

The children were invited to explore a warm water “Spring” sensory provocation.

Through these provocations the chiidren begin to use play and their senses to explore the different textures of the natural resources.
